Wow!
Thanks for posting those grabs. I have read that Goya apparently didn’t plan his paintings much before he hit the canvas. But look at the crouching figure, hands over face, behind the bayonets. What a complex composition. So much emotion in that paint. I’m off to find the Google Earth link.

I’m just in awe, really…the details are extraordinary, and this technology seems to open up innumerable possibilities for education — and for the sheer pleasure of looking at art up close, no matter how far away we are!
